When I was in grade 10, I’m having a hard time what strand should I choose when I go to grade 11. It took me a long time before I got my final decision, and it was ABM that I’ve chosen. When I went to enrollment day, I was really nervous, not only because of my strand, but also because of the life of a senior high student. I know that I’ll be busier, spend more money for requirements, sleep late at night most of the times, and especially, having a hard time to catch up with the lessons. It’s not that I’m dumb that I won’t get the lessons as fast as my classmates, it’s just that I know there are lessons that would give me a hard time to understand what it is since the type of teaching in senior high school is quite different from junior high school. I met most of the lessons for the first time.
I could not imagine what strand to take for senior high. No one came to my mind what was strand and course until I asked my classmates, teacher, parents. And there it is! I can speak well in front of many people, I can understand quickly and solve problems, and I am influenced because my mother is an Accountant. That’s why I chose ABM , I had the skills that is related to that strand. ABM strand is not that hard as you think. ABM is really fun! Being ABM student is like being a junior high too but sometimes you need to be serious in general academics. Come & join us here! Be part of us as ABM student!

Everyone said that ABM strand/course is difficult, because every student needs to be good at mathematics. Since the first day at my life being a ABM student, my expectations because of the people said to me slightly isn’t real at all. ABM strand is just hard when you don’t know how to analyze and understand what the lesson is. Also, ABM strand helped me to learn how to manage my schedules, my time, and specially to talk to people.

My life as an ABM student was so tough, actually at first I don’t really have an interest in this strand (ABM) because there is no Cookery strand in the school I have no choice so i choose (ABM) because I don’t like to transfer to another school because this school is near to our house. Being an ABM student is so tough as I said but the longer it takes the tougher it gets but behind all of the hardship there is still a thing that is making me to go to school and study, I realized that I am the one who chooses this I am the one make this decision so I have to stand on it, I would finish this strand and make sure to use it even if it wasn’t the one that I really want to take at all. ABM is really fun I won’t regret choosing it because I have lots of fun experience on even if I am just starting on.

ABM isn’t that hard, ABM strand helps us to earn money, to organize and manage, to teach us how to approach people and specially, ABM isn’t just about numbers, ABM strand also gives us a lesson that, we need to have a good manners and right conduct before approaching people and to have great strategies in making a unique and successful business.

When I was in junior high school, I heard a lot of rumors or sayings that you should be good at Math if you choose ABM strand. I’m quite scared when I knew that since I’m not that very good at math, but I admit also that I’m good at it most of the times. But when I got to SHS, that saying proved me wrong. Being good at Math is not the basis of an ABM students, it is being good at analysis. Your Math skills would be useless if your analysis to something is wrong. Math skills depends on your analysis skills.
When I was in Junior High and going to be Senior High, I don’t know what I’ll take the strand. I figured I would take the ABM strand just because I was based on NCAI. But many say that the ABM strand is difficult, but I don’t believe that the ABM strand is difficult because you can learn it. So now, I was a Senior High I prove to myself that, the ABM Strand is not difficult if you work hard. The ABM strand is easy for your dream life. I chose the ABM strand because I want to become a CPA(Certified Public Accountant) and if I willing to take a business i already know how to build a business and how to grow it. I choose The ABM strand because to recognize my Strength and weaknesses of an ABM Strand.

Before i was an abm student i had to go through the difficult part of deciding what exactly was the strand for me. At first, i didn’t really like the Abm strand because it was so difficult and had to be good at math and the sudden decision i made abm strand. As it lasts, i enjoy the Abm strand more and find that there is so much you can improve as Abm students and i know i will learn more and the time will come when everything i have learned as Abm students will apply and be used towards development and attainment of all my dreams.
